High fruit content and no preservatives

A unique feature of BANGS products is the extraordinarily high content of fruit and the high quality of the fruit and berries we use in our preserves and marmalades. 1st class fruit quality gives the best taste. We only choose the best raw materials!

Craftsmanship and respect for the fruit are two important characteristics of our marmalades and preserves.

We decide very carefully how much fruit to use and which production method to follow for each of our products.

Skill, care and experience are required to achieve the result, we want to find in every jar we make.

To keep the fresh taste, color and flavour from the fruit and berries in the final product,

we do not compromise at any stage of production.

Our cold prepared orange marmalade made from fresh citrus fruits is a good example of how careful and precise we are.

Our cold prepared marmalades have the unique taste of fresh fruit. This requires high quality fruit,

so we check each piece of fruit by hand. Cooking is not part of the production process in our cold prepared marmalades.

We do not add preservatives to our products – nor citric acid!

To preserve the marmalades and preserves we pasteurize the jars with content.

We use real lemon juice instead of citric acid.

Unnecessary additives and preservatives are not used!

However, to give the product structure and the creamy consistency, we add fruit pectin.

The fruit content in BANGS marmalades and preserves is high.

Primarily between 45% and almost 70% measured by actual weight of the fruit.

For instance, when we make 100 kilos of Cold Prepared Orange Marmalade with Honey,

we use over 60 kilos of fresh citrus fruits.

We believe that this explains why our marmalades and preserves taste so good and are recognized as excellent quality products.
